Who are you?

I'm Antony A 21 year old student at Bristol University

Why did you choose to become a Time 2 Share Befriender?

I chose to become a Time 2 Share Befriender, as after doing a little voluntary work previously I wanted to continue, Time 2 share seemed like an ideal opportunity to get out of the 'student bubble' whilst still within a supportive environment created by Time 2 share.

How do you get on with your child/young person and their family?

I get along really well with both my child and his parents, it's  really nice to be able to offer support to such a nice family who just need a little helping hand

What do you do together when you visit?

Normally we will go to the park and kick a ball around before getting some supper before going back to home and playing either a board game or some computer games together

What do you feel you have got out of your volunteering?

Volunteering has allowed me to do something other than the stereotypical student activities. It has been an enjoyable experience that has let me meet a really nice family.
