Groups Time2Share runs several groups for young people in Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset. The groups are intended for young disabled people to get together and socialise and have fun with the added support of workers and volunteers. Skittles group... A once a month group on Saturday afternoons where young people aged 13 – 18 get together in B&NES to play skittles, hang out and have food and drinks together. Dinner group... A once a month group on Friday evenings in Bath where young people aged 13 – 18 get together to cook a meal, hang out and play games. Zookah group... A fortnightly group on Friday evenings in Bristol for young people aged 15 – 19 with Asperger's syndrome. The group chooses the activities that they would like to do together, previous activities have included laser quest, going out for dinner, theatre and a visit to a Doctor who exhibition. The group also regularly does creative project like animation and film making. 18+ group... A once or twice monthly group for 18 – 25 year olds to do social activities in the community. The group usually meets in a central pub for a skittles and games evening once a month and goes out for dinner, cinema or other activities chosen by the group once a month. |
