Therapeutic swim sessions

Splashers is open to any child with special needs from birth until primary school age. Sessions take place in the warm water of the hydrotherapy pool at Three Ways School every Monday from 12.00 – 1.00pm, and now also on alternate Wednesdays from 12.00 – 1.00pm.  The cost is only £3 per session.

Special Childrens’ Events during Heritage Open Week
Fossil Hunt
Monday 26th October 2009, 1.30pm until 3pm (Ages 5-11 years)
This popular event, organised by the Museum’s Education Team, takes place on Monday 26th October. Meet at the Museum at 1pm to depart for the Batch at 1.30pm; about a twenty minute walk. Children should wear suitable outdoor clothing and stout shoes or wellington boots. Goggles will be provided at the Batch. Every child must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for the behaviour and safety of the child in their care and the health and safety of others around them. Bring a small hammer and bag to collect any fossils you may find! 
Fossil Fun Activity
Tuesday 27th October 2009, 2pm until 4pm (Ages 5-11 years)
Come along to the Museum for a fun filled afternoon. Our Education Team have lined up a number of activities linked in some way to fossils. Each child should be accompanied by an adult.
Both events are free for all B&NES residents as part of the Heritage Open Week.
