£1 Cinema for Juniors

Movies for Juniors are proud to present a weekly selection of classic kids’ films where you only pay from £1 per person at the Box Office. Screenings take place on Saturday mornings at 68 selected Cineworld cinemas across the UK. for more info contact your local Cineworld or go online and see whats playing near you. All movies play on a Saturday or Sunday morning from 10am.

Next year marks Time2Shares 40th birthday. Why not celebrate by joining our team of Bath Half marathon runners?

The half marathon takes place on Sunday the 11th of March 2012. We still have a few free places left for those who can pledge to raise £200 in sponsorship.

Wednesday 10th August – 7-9pm – Safe Sexual Health – at Southside for 13-19 year olds.

SOFA is an inclusive programme and we are keen to ensure that young people, who might not otherwise have the opportunity to access a project of this nature, to have the chance to do so SOFA (Summer Of Fun Activities) programme has been put together and the information/booking forms are now available. This year’s programme is designed for disabled and disadvantaged young people aged 12 -19 years and will be well supported by qualified and a dedicated staff team. th July – 19th August 2011 and will include activities such as kayaking, sailing, power boating, go-karting, fishing, caving, abseiling and horse riding. There will also be a weekly Base Camp days at Culverhay School with activities including cooking, sports, animation workshop, cheerleading and music sessions. .

Description:
The Fusion Dance Company is an integrated dance company working with original choreography to create challenging and stimulating performances.

The Kingswood Foundation’s Fusion dance project consists of two groups. The other group, the Fusion Community Dance Group – is a dance therapy group led by Ruth Price which creates a welcoming and accessible environment for young people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities.

The Fusion Dance Company is open to young people with a range of disabilities who want to challenge themselves artistically. The group will work with guest choreographers, and there will be summer schools and other activities including trips to watch professional companies perform.

Tutor: Lucy Howell
The Fusion Dance Company is lead by Lucy Howell, a highly experienced dance leader who has worked extensively with dancers with disabilities. As Youth Dance Coordinator for the Theatre Royal in Bath she is able to nurture a new generation of dancers in the area; as Inclusion Coordinator for Dance South Gloucestershire she works to make dance open to all.
